Marbella is one of Spain’s most expensive destinations for holiday rental properties according to a report recently released by the independent research company Tecnitasa.

Average weekly prices for holiday rental property in Marbella reach 1,100€ during the summer
Analysing the prices of holiday rental properties along the entire Costa del Sol, the company reports that during the peak summer season average prices have soared to 1,100€ per week. Elsewhere on the Costa del Sol prices have risen on average by 65€ since last year and 40% since 2014, now reaching 729€ per week.
However there is still a certain amount of disparity throughout the Málaga region with the highest prices averaging 1,300€ in Marbella’s Puerto Banús compared with beachfront apartments which can be found in Málaga city for as little as 450€.
10% annual rises in holiday rental prices have become the norm across much of Spain in recent years as the countries tourism industry continues to thrive, great news for holiday home owners and rental investors.
The likes of Barcelona, Ibiza and Sotogrande – also on the Costa del Sol – all appear on the list with average rental prices above 1,100€.
